Boot up problem.

Marius1195Fri Apr 01, 2016 9:23 pm

I did some RAM swapping and my BIOS lost my SSD that I boot from. I tried googling my error code 0xc000000f and the only non reinstalling option (I misplaced my W7 disk and am running W10) I could find was to unplug the pc for 15-20 min and most had the drive populate, I however did not. My boot list is giving me my DVDRW, HDD & USB. I have to manually go into the boot menu and select my SSD and it boots and runs wonderfully. Any ideas?

Sounds simple but have to ask, when you select your ssd in boot menu are you selecting "save changes"?

when you make hardware changes some bios's ask you about it at boot time to make sure you know the system has been modified. Usually you have to enter the bios and then save exit or else you will get the error boot order instead of the normal boot order.

I rooted around enough in the advanced options to find a way to populate it in the boot order option. Thanks for the suggestions! Go Charlie!
