mid-tower?

i have a big tower and between my cpu cooler and the case are only 4mm lol (ok cpu cooler is very big)
isn't a mid-tower too small for all the crazy sstuff?

aye i googled it ,looks cool.
but expensive... ,you can't get a good big tower for the money?

I have several Smilodons. I like them a lot. The 500 w power supply that comes with 4 of the 7 models is about useless though so I wouldn't get the one that comes with a psu. The fold out back is handy but with a big gpu it is difficult if not impossible to open it up fully. I would still buy it again, though. If you want more room then the antec 900 is top notch but costs more.

i've reaad that the gfx card-holder fits only on a few cards (for example HD 5970 don't fit)
the cooler in the lid can block a big cpu-cooler
too many not filtered mash openings

i don't know ,maybe you wanna upgrade your gfx card in the future and then....it don't fits in the tower...
you sit there with a new gfx card in your hands and you're not able to install it, you will eat your finger and foot nails.

better check wesleys out.

I just built one with the Haf932 case.....I am pretty satisfied with it so far. Plenty of air movement!!

I have always used Lian-Li cases. I love the extra space, and I'm a sucker for brushed aluminum... They are on the expensive side, but they are very understated and elegant, yet still maintain great airflow. Also, their mis-towers are about 1 1/2" wider than other mids, and house large cpu coolers with no trouble.

Haf 922 ( Older version of course but still an awesome case ^_^ )

As for motherboard if you REALLY wanna go amd go for it but you would always go the intel way and save your self some time buying new parts in the future ;P

Sure people say OH THERE SOOO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE! Hmm if they actually did the research they would notice hmm its really NOT that much more! In fact you can get more performance for less in some situations.

i have a phenom II x4 955 black edt. with an ashrock extreme3 890 gx chip
and it rocks.

AMD vs. Intel
Intel is better but if you build a complete new Comp. it's cheaper when you go the AMD way
and this was my reason to buy AMD

cheap processor with great power + board + hd4890 1GB + 4GB Ram = ca.500 bucks
what more could one want.
