hey oscar-mike
i don't have arma 3 but have played it and the only suggestion i can make is watch youtube videos and try and get some tips from there, the game is realistic so i found long range attacks worked best for me, but some time if all works right you can work your way through and take enemies out silently but thats difficult

I didn't like 2 so much, but 3 is shaping up to be pretty nice. I've played it on my roomies' computer, but the freaking thing doesn't want to run on mine; the .exe crashes the second I launch it,... I'd buy it if I knew it'd run well enough for me. I know it has excellent multi-monitor support, but I'm not sure if a single 7970 will cut it.
By the way, if anyone wants access to the Alpha, PM me.

yeah it is very different but i really do like the more "realistic" aspects of it ... and i also appreciate that its a squad based game .. been familiarizing myself with the controls for a week or so and flying the Heli's.
been having lots of fun with it . it is a lot of info to take in and learn and the fact that cover and concealment are so important makes it that much more challenging and fun ... i have the full Alpha so il hit you up Karow and you can
help me not be so horrible lol

II run it on dual 6870
Hm alright that seems promising. I run all my games at 6032x1200, and 'Recommended' specs always only take single screen setups into account. How does the performance compare to BF3 for you?
