Everything We Know About Battlefield 4 Multiplayer

The Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions each support 64-player maps and run at a solid 60 frames per second. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, however, are still limited to 24-players per match and 30 frames per second.

Squads can now include five soldiers instead of just four.

Given the larger squad size, Squad Deathmatch mode now includes more competitors.

Like Battlefield 3, the soldier classes you can play as are assault, engineer, recon, and support. All classes now have more shared weapons so players have more versatility when selecting their loadout.

Each class and weapon has a deeper persistance tree than previous Battlefield games.

DICE is changing how specializations work. It won't go into the finer details, but the developer is creating a system where you and your squad can bump up your specializations as you play if you are doing well.

Wish they could figure a way to make multiplay cross platform playable.  i.e. playstation and PC players to play on same server.

Will BF4 have private servers?

Good info, but still waiting for solid system req info before ordering.  Don't want to be $60 down and find  out I am at the bottom (or below) of the system requirements.

Seen those system reqs before.  They are speculation, no EA/DICE posted.  I guess I should say, when I see system reqs posted by EA/DICE for the finished product (or at least the open beta) then I will feel more comfortable spending the money.

I don't expect the requirements to bu much higher the BF3. Quad core CPU, 8gb ram, high 6000/7000 AMD or high 500/600/700 Nvidia GPU.

I wish bullets could hit the same point that is marked by the laser sight. That's how it works in Crysis and it's great.

Ugh, I'm going to need to upgrade my vid card.  I have a 5700 right now. Everything else should be good.  I believe.
