I need someone that can not connect to our Blops server to do a trace, then paste and copy in a pm to me. With out that info they cant tell what's going on.
Sorry that I don't have one for you now that its working for me again, however I did do a tracert back when I was messing with it and I was able to reach the server without issue if I remember correctly. That is why I was thinking that it had something to do with the server initializing the connection, not me physically being able to reach out to it.

We have been having the same problem at VPG, it seems like when you leave the server and come back, it just hangs up while connecting, It's been happening randomly to people, some tracert's have "request timed out alerts" some don't. Server resets and sync's seem to clear it up. Have you guys been noticing the lack of maps being saved into recent games also? What iv'e been seeing with the connection problems and the recent games not being saved gives me the distinct feeling that Treyarch-steam have given up on BO'S or something.

The recent games thing has been an issue in BO since the beginning from what I've seen. At this point I'm not sure if they've given up or if its the fault of the people running the gameservers not doing frequent maintenance. Since people have tracerts that go all the way to the server without issue and the fact that I confirmed that a full from scratch install doesn't resolve the issue I think the issue has to be server side.
