as of December the 20th winamp will be no more, AOL is closing it down after 15 years. its a real shame to see it go, i would like to see it become open source but don't think it will happen.
so as result i am looking for a new mp3 player, that is low on system resources and screen retail

I should point out that as long as you have a downloaded installer it's not like you can't keep using winamp.

Ya i saw that a couple days ago.  Unexpected. But I switched to Foobar a while  ago,  so i guess my timing was good. If be nice if someone would release the code after its' demise...
