Looking for a job? North Dakota wants you.

In a new recruiting campaign to be rolled out in May, the North Dakota Economic Development Foundation is aiming to fill more than 20,000 jobs -- ranging from truck drivers and oilfield workers to receptionists and food servers.

North Dakota has an over abundance of jobs.
True story.
I live in North Dakota.

Here's what they don't tell you though.

IF you're lucky enough to get a job out in the oil fields, the only reason you are making soooo much money is because you are working 18 hour days. Then, on payday, you take all that hard earned money you made and pay off your $6000 rent for a 1 bedroom apartment, or your $300 a night motel bill. Then let's find a place to wash your oily, dirty clothes. You gotta take them some where to wash right? 1 load of clothes, washed, dried and folded for you....$30-$40.

The bulk of the jobs available in North Dakota are your everyday average jobs. Fast food joints, C-Store clerks, floor salesman at big box store.......
North Dakota unemployment rate right now is at 3%. And that is mostly people who can not physcially work. The rest of it people who just choose not to work. You can't tell me you come to North Dakota and CAN'T find a job. It's a matter of whether or not you're willing to do the work that is available for the pay being offered.

If any BK members are out of work and looking....please PM me before coming to ND and ending up homeless and on the street. I'll try and help point you in the right direction before you get here. Winters here are no place to living in a tent.

Riv....
