I am trying to figure out the weapon stats in general, and for the sniper rifles in particular.  Looking at the starting rifle in that class, the CS-LR4, the damage is showing a base maxed out at 100.  Why, then, can some people get one shot kills with other rifles and not with this one, if the damage is already maxed?  The stats on many weapons seem to be identical, so just not sure why I would upgrade, say, to the M40A5 that has the exact same stats.  Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

DE, also look at the range. Some are rated at 80 and others at 100. I myself like the SRR61.

Looks great, just have to unlock it first.  I am one that actually enjoys sniping, but have had a difficulty in a lot of the WaW maps since they seem so close quarters.  That is one thing that I like with BF4, seems to be a lot more open for it.

Is the place you want to go for weapon info nothing in game is accurate to the actual stats the in game.  Weapon stats are only relative to each other and only in a very vague sense
