I  don't think I've seen any game  closer to  a combat simulator than the ARMA series.  Like Battlefield meets MS Flight Simulator. Although it's easy enough to run around and shoot a gun,  there's a lot to it,  with a step learning  curve.
But they are pretty fun. Â PC exclusive, Â so they have all the perks that we PC Elitists have come to expect from a game: customization, Â dedicated servers, Â admin control, Â gorgeous landscapes, Â and easy moddability.
I haven't played 3, but i played  the first two a bit  and quite enjoyed them,  even though the learning curve can be steep.
If more BK decided to support it,  I'd buy it in  a second.  Plus they have a nice,  long lifespan.

Arma will have a huge learning curve for players. Especially new players that never tried Arma before. All the mechanics about infantry alone is staggering. Now add in vehicles and air support as well.
Dont get me wrong, I love Arma and if there's any game that can bring about leadership, coordination, and team play in the most realist sense possible, Arma would be the game. I just feel due to the learning curve, a lot of our members will have a hard time adjusting from the very basic controls of Call of Duty / Battlefield to the more advance form of play in Arma. If we did get past this though, this game would, in my opinion, be a HUGE benefit to BK since it does require co operation as well as communication with your team so that gets rid of the one burden we have in this clan, which is lack of communication. People (myself including) just stick to them selves and say things here and there. If we can all get a game where communication is key, that will help allow everyone to become more social and for us to grow as a team.
Also in the news of W@W, Arma itself is not very graphic intensive compared to battlefield 3/4. I would suggest Arma2 however since it is a very solid game and does not require as much compared to Arma3 for obvious reasons. Not only this but for those World War 2 buffs we have in the clan, there are several successful and popular World War mods that we can easily add to the server from time to time. It ranges from D-Day to even specific battles in Europe. If this does happen, it can easily turn W@W into child's play when in comparison to how real it could get in Arma.

Viper I would think you could rejoin regardless of what anyone plays. BK is not just a gaming bunch, we are a family that cares about each other whether we want to admit it some times or not ( no comments from you Taz ).....

Well been looking at some of these threads about new game for BK yes i like the Rising Storm one but agree not enough server slots, if they did raise it would be a good add-on.
Arma, yes looking at the graphics and server slots up to 30 seems like we have something my dear Watson.
Since i did the whole DL of BF4 and soon realized my tablet is not strong enough, I looked harder and minimal req. does have the Intel HD 4000 support so should be good to play this one
I do suggest our techie guys do a little more research on it just my opinion.
