After listening to a few people in TS i was going to make this post myself, until i found this post by Spidie.
These emblems are still current and the best way of seeing how far off the gold guns you are (Prestige lvl 14 for gold guns sigh).
If you want to know more about leveling or unlocking stuff like the 'pro' perks etc here is the link.

My bayonet is sharp, and it has a Shotgun attachment.
