OK, I upgrading a HD in my gaming system. I pulled the HD and am using a thermatake USB dual dock.

I want to clone the old HD to the new.
What is the best, fastest most reliable, and FREE solution.

Thanks.

If you're using a hard drive or SSD dual dock, It already has the software built in to clone the drives

Themraltake Blacx Duet, no software came with it.

Im going to try alienware recovery and see if that works.
All else fails I will just have to reinstall everything.

Best to reinstall everything fresh.
I have used Norton ghost in the past with good luck and dependability.

I started to try the Samsung product, But it only clones the C drive. I had already pulled the drive I wanted to clone and was trying to do it through my dock.

When I upgraded to the ssd in my ultrabook (smaller then the original hdd) I used EaseUS ToDo backup - I did the clone before swapping the disks though

OK, I used the alienware/Dell recovery and then upgraded to Win 10.

Took less time then I thought. Got headset, teamspeak, origin and Steam all setup.
Have BF4, Black Ops downloaded and ready to run. Just have to install WAW which is a bit tricky since I own the CD version but dont have a CD drive in this system. Will have to link to other system.

All in all it took less time then I thought.

Will be importing TS bookmarks today. I will try to get on TS sometime this afternoon. Hope to talk to you all then.
