I have pre order but may cancel because it is looking like no dedicated servers. Still nothing on the game server companies about ordering a private server. Release is only a month away. Is the End of PC gaming near??

Yep...not seeing anything on rentable servers. This means that they will be official EA/DICE controlled servers...which will NOT be a good thing.

Just saw on a twitter from BF1 builders that they have not said yet if there will be dedicated servers so I am holding off,  I do enjoy it though if we can play our way it would be outstanding!

I am really concerned the closer it gets to the release date the worse the game play is I have more problems with the game now than with the alpha

You will enjoy it Johnny...it has been some serious fun (and frustration).

We will need to think hard about what we are going to do as a clan if they don't have rentable servers though...UGH

From what I read on rented servers Johnny it does not look good. I contacted GS's & they knew nothing & it looked like they were going to have servers offered by the Dev. only. They will be like the official servers by Dice in BF4 & they will maintain control of the server. The admin.'s will have no control over the server to kick, ban, set rules, in game mess. etc. & they are supposed to be more expensive than what we rent now. It looks like another COD to undermine the PC gaming community & if it is we need to let our voices heard where it counts, their pocket book.

I don't particularly care for the Beta that much.  Unbalanced hits with tanks, discrepancies with hitting someone right in the head and no kill or too many shots to bring someone down especially considering they didn't have the protection of vests and such back then.  Horses move funny ( I know, lame....get it???).  Just overall not that enthused with it.  I will hold off, but I may still buy it someday.  I'll let some of you be my guinea pigs!

Game updated for me and it is not good in my opinion. Before the update I ran just fine, now it does not easily connect to the server, got kicked out of the game twice and then when trying to exit the game got a totally black screen and my computer totally locked up - no control alt delete - nada, so i had to hard shut it down and restart. I will sometime - not today try and run it again, but if anyone else is having these problems now please post, and then I will not try again. I am not a fan of having to shut down my computer ungracefully.

OINK!!!      OINK!!!

Agree with all of that & the server issue is the concern to me as well & do not want to buy another game like Red Orchestra II that will never get populated enough to play.[/color]

I've read all your posts and I'm going to hang back and see about dedicated servers before considering purchase. Further, wait and see if BK supports the game.
