3 yrs. in 7th Corp 82nd Engr. BN. Bamberg Germany "Blue Babe Sir" (Mascot Paul Bunyan's Ox)
Accomplishments:
Updated 5 lines of defense targets for NATO along E. Ger./CZECH. border
Winter Reforger Exercise Dec. 1977, BN deployed 3 floating pontoon bridges on the Rhine River (First time the Army crossed the Rhine River since WW II)  
Jun.1978 - Feb. 1979 TDY Marshall Islands, Lojwa
84th Engr. BN. Combat Heavy
Atomic Cleanup Veteran, Lojwa Animal "We Read By Our Own Glow" (Island Motto)
Cleaned up nuclear debris on island test sites & demoed contaminated Japanese Bunkers
