Is BF 1 Incursion going to be an expansion pack , new game mode or a stand alone game?

Very disappointed in incursions. Game does not half work right. Tanks and cars are way overpowered in this version. You can't switch kits after you start so if no one has a kit to take on vehicles or you player leaves, you're up a creek. The tanks on the guns will eventually stick up and to the left on your gun making it useless. There is a lot of work before this comes close to being what they hype it to be. IF they fix all the issues and balance it a bit more then it might be a decent game to play. Not very impressed right now and I was thinking this would be a really good version.

Oh it is at the moment a separate game, not an addon for BF1. Maybe they will add it in to BF1 but it has its own lobby so at this point I can't see it being played on our server. Nor at this point do I see how you could go in as a team or with clan mates. That just maybe because this is an alpha version without all the features at this point.

The theory is that BF1 incursions is a test vehicle for a competitive game mode that DICE wants to release with their upcoming Battlefield game.  Get the kinks and feedback so its ready on day 1 of Battlefield 2018 (or whatever they are going to call it).
