We'll have to see how this building stuff plays out. When I first heard of constructing cover, I was worried this would be a cross between BF and Fortnite. Its more like COD WW2 type construction (and Team Fortress 2 with the building of defensive machine gun positions?????)
So, now everyone can revive, which means we'll NOT get revived by everyone, not just the medic class - except for the Rambo revives, those we'll still get. Seriously, why do people revive in the middle of an incendiary grenade, or when the bad guy has you covered with a machine gun? You're dead. You've been revived. You're dead again. Thanks.
Okay take on V since I finally got to play it. Has potential. There are plenty of little glitches here and there but not anything I think they couldn't fix after the beta. There are two definitive types of upgrades to guns. One for standing accuracy and the other for moving accuracy. So interesting to see if it does promote team play and less run and gun.
Gun accuracy is dependent upon upgrades at least at the beginning levels. Once you get a few then it appears to be equal. No one class dominates that I can see.
The build thing is not too unreal. Only takes a couple seconds to build a section but still need a bit of time to build a whole section. Does provide cover in cap areas that are open so looks like a good thing. But they are not so dominating that a sqaud could not take the position with good teamwork.
The revive is decent. Medics are pretty quick the remainder are a bit longer but doable. Have not seen how to do the drag thing yet to get them out of fire. Basically you run up to your teammate and hit E then the revive begins. So in my mind it is a bit quicker than having to switch to a syringe then revive.
NOT a fan of the Grand Operation. Only won one game playing the attacking team and that was because the other side wanted to be snipers or not defend at all. If the defenders make an decent effort, the attacking team stand little chance. Hope that gets tweaked a bit to balance it out. The part destroying the AA is the hardest part.
If you had asked this morning I would have said it was junk. However, after a nap and playing a bit this evening I would say it has potential to be really good. Will say this, if a team wants to win a game it will take teamwork. The team that works together will win with little effort if the other just messes around with no coordination.
Played one game on it and its the best i have seen in gaming so far. Cannot wait to get into some serious work in teams on this when its fully released.
Comms can easily be sorted out. And that needs to be discussed to allow correct team work to occur. But I do have an idea where thats concerned.
