Battlefield's new game will be called 2042 and from what I see I really like it. Looks a lot like BF3 and BF4 but bigger and better. Levelcap made a full breakdown of the new trailer and everything we know here:

The more I dive into 2042 the who Rentable server thing is becoming less of a thing. In fact, I highly doubt Rentable servers will become a reality.

The new trailer shows you can create custom servers to do anything you want. Including mode that only allows you to use knives or shotguns only.

My heart soared when I saw the Battlefield Portal trailer and read about it. Then I went back to the FAQ and searched info on servers. If only they would let people host their own dedicated servers again, this would be amazing.
