Hey, I'm planning on reinstalling windows and I'd like to keep my COD4 player data. From what I understand it's saved on my computer. Would it just be a file in ProgramData/Cod4/ ? or would it be in the programFiles/ folder?
I know sniper had some trouble with it at one point and that stirred up a huge debate.

Hmmm I'm not sure what to do with windows 7 but I know a few of our members have it. Anyone here know how to do this in windows 7?

How do you do it in Vista? I can figure it out from 7 based on Vista. 7 is basically just a GUI change and a few minor scripting changes.

It wasn't there, but I found it.
C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles
That's the location if anyone needs to access their profile or back it up in Windows 7
