Game crashed on me, because I lost my connection (said I was offline, when my connection came back there were no profiles in the profile box thing and in the top right corner it said offline Sinister-BK-. I rebooted the game. Profiles appeared. Entered my profile. I was back on level 1, no prestiges (had almost 9 of them- 62 in the 8th one), no stats at all. Also all my configs were gone (graphics, clan tag, sound, controls, binds). Rebooted the computer with high hopes that it was a mistake. It was not! I lost my positive 7 000 overall kills to death ratio. Well. Angry right now is an understatement. I'm starting of scratch.

Similar happened to my PC a number of years ago when it crashed while on the internet, rebooted, it had issues and lost nearly 500 pictures

try a restore point that is before the time it happened.   (then back it up to a safe place)

I know the feeling. This happened to me several times without the game or the PC crashing. I guess it has something to do with the connection because I had those a lot at one point. Only one fix - save your profile every few days.

A restore point as Wesley said may work. This is a good time to encourage all *BK* members to back up there profiles.

I had lost all of my wife pictures at one time, drive failed.  THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!  After getting out of the dog house for the week I went out a got an external hard drive.  Now I backup all important stuff (pictures, videos, game saves and profiles) to the external and store the external in the fire safe.  Cost $100 for a half TB = peace of mind.  Is that a picture of Emmit Kelly Jr, sinister?

i have not been around for a long time to Sinister mine did the same thing m8 back to nothing, got a new os now running win7 got a few things going on atm with my life but will try to get back soon missing alot of the voices i came to enjoy yes that means u as well Sinister,so don't feel to bad m8 i'm in the same boat starting from scratch again see u all soon
