I have loaded and played BC2 multiplayer but had to so a system "restore" and after the restore the game was gone. I reinstalled the game but since then I have not been able to play in multiplayer. Singleplayer is ok.. The "server browser" will not load up no matter what I do with the filters. I thought I would uninstall the game and start over but there is nowhere to uninstall. Any ideas?

there is a way to uninstall...it should be in your control panel under programs...or if you have it on STEAM, then you might have to right click on the game name in STEAM and uninstall it that way...I'll look when I go on my computer..right now I'm on my laptop..

Best thing is to remove BC2 from your computer....Start/MY COMPUTER/PROGRAMS/ FIND THE EA FOLDER/ DELETE BC2 FROM IT.
Know how to edit the regiester? (USE CAUTION HERE) If you don't forget it. You can really mess up your system.

Ok...here's the scoop...
usning XP you need to do the following:
click on: START>>>CONTROL PANEL>>>ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS>>>BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2>>>UNINSTALL...RESTART COMPUTER.
using VISTA or WINDOWS 7:
click on: START>>>CONTROL PANEL>>>PROGRAMS AND FEATURES>>>BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2>>>UNINSTALL OR REPAIR....RESTART COMPUTER..
for STEAM:
Open STEAM>>>MY GAMES>>>right click on that game (BFBC2)>>>DELETE LOCAL CONTENT....I am not 100% sure that this will uninstall it from your computer...you must follow the above procedures to uninstall.
If you want, you can also download ccleaner and run that registry cleaner after you uninstall to clean up any left behind/unwanted items. found here:
ccleaner

Thanks guys. That took care of my problem. I was able to uninstall via my control panel. I reinstalled game and I found out you have to use upper case when you register your game. I am back online and have played for about an hour. What a difference this is. Its so darn fast. I get all kinda nervous when I am in game. Not sure what I am doing but I die a lot.
