Hi guys,
A friend of mine was looking at comp. prices; and I vaguely remembered
somone posting a new gaming systemfor approx. $700.
Not sure where the site was, but If anyone has the link or know where that post is
could you point it out for me.
Thanks

You can buy barebones or prebuilt machines at Newegg.com. Id much rather buy the parts and put it together myself for a lot cheaper ;P

Also check out ibuypower or http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/ sometimes they run decent deals.

I always shop around when I'm buying a new PC. My first question is will this be a laptop or a desktop? If a desktop is he looking to build one or get it finished?

I Believe someone had mentioned it and may have posted a link for a desktop with one of the
new processors and components.
Not sure how serious he is at this point, but I thought someone might have remembered the
build.

Tiger Direct also likes to run up their prices.  For the machine I am building now everything is coming from Newegg and Amazon.  I've been a loyal Newegg customer since 2004.  They once even approved an RMA on a motherboard where I had bricked it myself with flashing the wrong bios.

First Items I ever ordered from Newegg.com:

You might also wanna checkout PriceWatch.com.  I used them quite a bit when building my last computer.

Alot more than I thought..
All great places, kind of makes me want to shop for
new parts. But then again, I only have room for one more
graphics card... maybe in the future.
thanks guys
