I just built one with the Haf932 case.....I am pretty satisfied with it so far. Plenty of air movement!!

I have always used Lian-Li cases. I love the extra space, and I'm a sucker for brushed aluminum... They are on the expensive side, but they are very understated and elegant, yet still maintain great airflow. Also, their mis-towers are about 1 1/2" wider than other mids, and house large cpu coolers with no trouble.

Haf 922 ( Older version of course but still an awesome case ^_^ )
As for motherboard if you REALLY wanna go amd go for it but you would always go the intel way and save your self some time buying new parts in the future ;P
Sure people say OH THERE SOOO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE! Hmm if they actually did the research they would notice hmm its really NOT that much more! In fact you can get more performance for less in some situations.

i have a phenom II x4 955 black edt. with an ashrock extreme3 890 gx chip
and it rocks.
AMD vs. Intel
Intel is better but if you build a complete new Comp. it's cheaper when you go the AMD way
and this was my reason to buy AMD
cheap processor with great power + board + hd4890 1GB + 4GB Ram = ca.500 bucks
what more could one want.
