Ok, not sure where to post this so everyone see's it....

Story:
2 weeks ago, I did a STUPID thing and Deleted my 1 TB of backed up information of about 10 yrs worth of Pictures and music, and some data/software. I have been frantically searching for a software to retrieve it all back for me..some would only find bits and pieces and others found everything, but it was corrupt and not accessible..JUST A TEASE... I was in TS one day and happened to ask everyone if they knew of a good program, and Tripod spoke up and told me of a program he knew about..Since I tried it...I HAVE RETRIEVED ALL MY PICTURES AND MUSIC BACK!!!...If you can imagine, a grown man with tears in his eyes...I would gladly tell you I had Tears of Happiness!!!

I try to help many out with computer issues as best I can, with the knowledge I have...but this one goes beyond the call and I know it isn't his software, or maybe he has rights to it, but without his experience or advice, I don't know where I would have been....still lost without our information...

Again, Thanks Tripod!!!

THANK YOU TRIPOD!!!!!!!

Good job. I did a similar thing with my USB drive. I used a free program called Recuva and it did the job perfectly. It is essential that when something like that happens you don't use the drive. That will increase the chance to retrieve data since it will not be overwritten.

So glad to hear you were able to get it all back.  I know the feeling of a lost hard drive...especially when its filled with irreplaceable files like family photos and such.  Way to go!
