i'm on windows7 64 bit didnt have that problem maybe clean the disk cause the disk for that game is really touchey also try running it as a admin on your system

for win 7 -64 ultimate....... it works fine
maybe try to install as administrator or change the compatibility to winXP
not enough discspace (on your win partition) ?

hmm i presume both of you guys have the hard copies of the game?
If so just activate the game with steam; then the whole install process is bypassed
also when blackop being on steam odds are youll be using steam soon anyways!
To activate just go to games and click activate non-steam game. Insert cdkey and it should autodetect.
