Of all things it was a stinking receipt printer at work I was trying to repair. Top door was jammed shut, while trying to pry it up it snapped back and caught me. In the picture you can sort of see the serrated edges. End of the fingernail is still attached at the corners. Should pop itself out in a couple weeks.

Murphy's Law: if it is jammed... force it!
If it breaks... it needed replacing anyway.
In this case I think you should have just replaced the printer.
Per chance, did the printer say "PC load letter"?

I cut off three of mine with a table saw a few years back. You can't even tell unless you look at my left ring finger where i am missing some bone.

My issue is that's my "A" key finger. And since the bandaging is nice and bulky I can't use it to type with, or move left in game. Think I have it figured out though.

I'll send you a cup of concrete, just drink it and harden up.
Heck I play with the full use of only one hand, the other being partially paralyzed from a stroke I had during brain surgery after a motorcycle accident in 2006. I can move the hand and fingers but lack the fine motor control to use them for movement keys, so I have keys assigned on my mouse for movement. While the left hand just lays there like a slug. Actually I do use it from time to time as the movement for the keys is good therapy, I used COD I as a hand to eye coordination therapy tool when recovering from the accident. It get's a little better everyday. Tape that sucker up and play. There's no need to go to the left anyway.
If you run, you will only die tired.

Tet...grab some of your wife's lotion man...you need to moisturize.
Hope it heals up soon!
Cardboard dries out the skin. I took the outer bandage off today. Bled a little but doesn't hurt anymore. The bulkiness was causing a few issues but I gamed mostly ok this morning. Sleep now then if I wake up later this evening I will play.
