CPU question

Did a cpu performance test
and all the categories came back with
high scores. It seems that my lowest score
came on the Disk Data Transfer rate off the
Primary hard Disk
.
Does anyone know what this means?
And what can I do?

Performance test? As in the one for Windows?

"Disk Data Transfer rate" is basically how fast your hard drive reads/writes data. Even with Raid 0 on 2 Raptors i only get a 6.2.

If you want to make that a high seven you'll have to invest in a SSD. Do it the smart way and buy a small SSD for your boot drive and then another ( regular hard drive ) for your programs. ( put your games on the boot drive)

It nice having a SSD but the only big noticeable difference is start up of your OS and programs.  Data transfer is increased but for the money you would spend to get a decent size SSD its not worth it.  I would give it some time, alittle birdie tells me SSD prices are going to down soon.
