The differences between these two are definitely more subtle than yesterday's comparison, but BF3 will run on the Frostbite 2 engine, where BC 2 runs on Frostbite 1.5, so putting the two side-by-side offers an object lesson on just how much a improvement you can expect from one game-engine generation to the next -- It will also almost certainly make you even more impatient for the release of Battlefield 3.

Its pretty obvious that the footage of BC2 was on a console and was slightly blurry, while the Bf3 footage was on a super PC. Regardless though, I don't think the differences will appear in the graphics at least to a certain degree, it will appear in the mechanics of the game, every movement seems fluid, realistic and believable. The surroundings while you ADS also seem improved and more realistic, smoother.

On a side note: If you watch IGN's rewind trailer of the the latest BF3 video, they state that some weapons, such as the M4 present in the video will have the ability to switch between firing modes, single shot, burst and auto
