So I had conflicted feelings about this one.  On one hand it was very difficult to used the image you supplied to get it fixed up.  Its very texture and would make it hard to see.  On the other hand I just would hate to see you use something that was from another clan.  

So with that said, here is what I came up with.  Including but not limited to a Virginia class sub equipt with  a beautiful torpedo being fired.  Along with some depth charge explosions in the rear and a unexploded charge off in the back.  

You didnt request for a quote so I hope you dont mind me adding "The Silent Hunter"  along the side.

Very nice. I like the idea, and how it was executed. The only thing that doesn't look right to me is the text on the side of the sub.

Yeah, I was trying to get it to line up with the side of the sub but I couldnt find a way to round it up.
