If it follows the trend, it'll be aweful. Ever since 3.1, every second Windows OS has been pretty lame. But we'll see.

Honestly it looks like if you take away the Metro UI it's Windows 7. I'm iffy about Metro, but then again I am still learning it.

I've got it installed on an old laptop. Only played around with it for about 30mins when I first downloaded it, haven't been back since. Really quite enjoyed metro. However I am more used to metro as I have a windows phone 7 phone, its a very similar UI.
Probably will start developing for it in the near future

I do not think it will be worth messing with unless you just happen to have a touch screen monitor floating around, which I do not, so I will wait and see what is to come . . .
