The last suggestion I have is to try installing onto a 2nd hand machine - it doesn't have to able to play to game, or even meet the minimum requirements. This should verify that you have the correct files. GOA Luke has posted the patches somewhere - there is a forum post - so you might want to try those files.

Hey Guys,  well I have no idea of whats going on.  I haven't been playing WAW because I can't get the 1.5 patch to load.  This really sinks.

This is the message I get

I click Yes, and this is the message I get:

Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk.

Please check the proper disk is inserted or specify a new path.

Any other suggestions ?

not sure if steam took the game on or not but sometimes games that are purchased from shops can be activated on steam and then all your updates are applied automatically but the 1.5 patch issue sounds familiar have you googled the issue cos if i remember someone came up with a solution
