I HAVE GOT A 5-10 FPS BOOST FROM INCREASING MY PCI LATENCY TIMER IN MY BIOS IF YOU MOVE IT UP FROM YOUR STANDARD TO ITS HIGHEST SETTING YOUR PCI-E SLOT WILL CONDUCT TRANSACTIONS FOR A LONGER TIME THUS IMPROVING PCI BANDWIDTH

LOL, I think McGintoy just saved some people from blowing up their computers. When I think about ping and lag and all, I just remember our friends from across the sea. If they do well with their +200 pings, then there's no reason to change mine. But I do understand some it does help some people. Just be careful when dealing with bios stuff. If you know what you're doing, go ahead. But if not, stick with the posts that talked about how to lower it in game.
