Budget? The price/performance between AMD and Nvidia is pretty equal, unless you're partial to one over the other. Me, I've had both with success and have no preference.

I'm a huge advocate of building your own system. Not only is it good to learn stuff, but it (well, for me) is fun to do and gives a much better understanding of what components you have. And you get all the particular parts you want, of course.  I'd recommend at least a quad core CPU ( can you even buy new dual cores anymore?), 8gb DDR3 1600mhz, 2gb video memory, and a P67, Z68 or Z77 motherboard. But you can certainly get a decent gaming PC for under a grand.

But your budget is the greatest influence. Also, do you need EVERYTHING, or do you already have stuff like mouse/kb/HDD/case, etc.?

Yes I can help with more info. I need everything but the screen. I have that. If I could I like the desktop already together. I like to not go anything high then $700 if I could. I want a pc that can play all the game the clan play.

OK here one to take a look at. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227424 Everyone feel free to comment it does not have as good a Video card as I would like but it hard finding one at that price. I will say this you can build a better PC own your own at that price, one that would have a better video card.

I bought a cheap desktop with a decent quad core and lots of memory.  I upgraded to a 650w power supply and GTX 560TI video card.  MY only issues is air flow, my 560ti runs very hot and have to manually adjust the fan and open my case to keep it cool.  Something to keep in mind when building your own.

Have you tried a custom fan curve using MSI Afterburner,  MisterD? Starting with a higher low-temperature fan speed makes a big difference.
