Hi everyone, just a quick message to say thanks to all who sent their best wishes for my son Glen who was in hospital having his Thyroid removed. As you know from Mini`s post, things were not looking good for a while. He got an overdose of thyroxin as they were removing it which caused lots of problems, one being a dangerously low calcium level which caused short term mental problems. However he is almost 100% healthy(physically and mentally) again and hopefully with no long term problems and was discharged from hospital yesterday

Glad all is well with your son. My wife opted for the Chemical removal of her thyroid versus the surgery a few years back. Glad he is much better now!

i am very glad to here that he has gotten better, with 3 kids at home i know it must have been a gut wrencher to go through much respect and smooth sails ahead for him and your family sir.
