Anyone else ever play this game? The target for a 'yes' response seems to be fairly small...

Still probably my all-time favourite game, I played Carmageddon for endless hours when it first came out, and I played it on my sweet 486 SX. I even had to splurge for a cdrom to install it. Pretty basic: win by completing laps, smashign your opponents to bits, or run every one the 300+ pedestrians on the map. When i saw i could get it for my Android phone for 2 bucks, i was giddy, and spent the day staring at my little screen.
A couple sequels came out, but they missed the sweet simplicity of the original. Then lo, about two years ago, the original developer announced that they were starting a Kickstarter campaign to create a remake. The had a goal $400,000 adn quickly reached over $600,000 (with my contribution of 40 bucks), and eventually ended up with over a million. Now, they are to release the Alpha next week. My Kickstarter contribution guarantees me a Sgea and a DRM-free download of the full game, but it'd be fun to play with others. Have a looksee.
