The new Nvidia driver is out, 285.62. Two things, select custom install and make sure you check the box for clean installation. This should erase all your current Nvidia console settings, you may want to write them down before you install.

I just use Snipping Tool to save images of my settings; since my centre monitor is a different model than my sides, the color-matching takes some time if color settigns aren't saved. I always do clean installs for hardware drivers. That extra 2 minutes often saves a lot of weirdness down the road.
Thanks for the update, though. I use an Nvidia on my HTPC and my HDMI has been doing funky things.
