Dear Mr. Ted100,
My name is Sloane Torres, i am L3ct3r's wife. If you are not aware L3ct3r had stage 4 bone cancer, i know he told BK's head; Luke i think is his name....
I guess what i am trying to say is that L3ct3r/Jeremy passed away a week ago, however he wanted me to let someone know from BK, he told me i should probably let you know since you are the head honcho of Alpha.
Jeremy/l3ct3r died at the age of 25, November 20th @ 10:12 am.
obviously its a challenge for me to write this, however if you have any questions or etc... you or some one higher up can i guess either contact me or his brother Jase at: Ijuf340 [at] hotmail [dot] com.

Sincerely,
 Sloane Torres"

Sad

I didn't get too many chances to play with or converse with the man, as I joined only a few weeks before he was forced to stop playing. But it's still sad to see someone so young go like that..I've heard that's a very painful way to go. I just hope it was a peaceful passng for him. Positive thoughts go to Sloane.

thanks, Ted.

So sad to hear. I've moved him to the 'Honored Members' section of the roster.

So young... I may be new here and I have never had a chance to enjoy the pleasure of joining L3ct3r on the Battlefield, I am saddened by this news. May you now rest in peace Jeremy. You are no longer in pain my Brother. To your family and friends, I pray for you & shed a tear, remember the good times, the laughs and smiles. Their is never a good time to pass, this time of the year is always the hardest. We lost my Grandmother right before Christmas last year. God needed a special angel for the holidays. May you all find peace in the memories you all shared. May you rest in Peace my Bad Karma Brother, I Salute you.

A Poem not written by me:

God saw that he was getting tired
And the cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around him
And whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
And saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Busy little hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

It's lonesome here without you
We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same
Since you went away.

When days are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."

Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
We'll meet again someday."

WOW, how sad to lose a member so young!  Rest in Peace L3ct3r, and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family!

I made this ribbon bar, for anyone to add in memory of L3ct3r.

Sad news and my thoughts are with his family. Time is fleeting and we all need to take the time to smell the flowers.

I don't know the guy as i'd never played with him but it's always bad to lose someone especially when they are only 25. So sorry to hear the news an i hope you an the family can hold it together through this rough time. R.I.P

As we can all see, life can be a short experience. I like to think that L3ct3r enjoyed the friendship and interest of fellow gamer's here at BK even though he was fighting a real life battle of his own. He came here to be in common with others and along the way he gave us as much enjoyment as we gave him. He never complained about the cards he was dealt, he just wanted to be part of this group enough to make sure that we knew when the time came we would all be informed of his next next great adventure.

I am sure that he was a man of detail and took steps to leave this world in an orderly fashion including the directions Sloane has carried out. Ours prayers are with you Sloane and your family, for you are a strong woman and so fortunate to have been there to take care of Jeremy in his time of need.

God Bless You.
