I have recently installed everything in my pc to a new case and the rig was working just fine before hand and now the rig isn't working. The issue I am experiencing is the SSD died my HDD died now I am getting no video signal to my monitor which suggests my gpu has died....windows was running just fine until I got everything in the new case.

Windows started to lag and freeze up but I could still use my mouse but not click on anything as it would not respond then the system would restart and not finish a boot.
I have reinstalled my windows several times and still have these issues but now when I start up my system I get no video signal. I have tried to use different BIOS on the motherboard as well as the GPU but still no signal.
I have reset my CMOS and selected my backup BIOS for both the motherboard and GPU but still have these issues.

What is causing this?

12GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600Mhz ram
MSI HD 6950 2GB GPU
Silverstone Stryder ST85P-F 850w PSU
Intel Core i7 950 stock clock @ 3.07Ghz
Seagate 500GB HDD
OCZ Vertex III 120GB SSD
250GB External HDD
NZXT Switch 810 Case
Corsair H50 Cooler

Note: I am not overclocking anything at this point and have not OC anything in a while or with my current rig

now i have that issue once since i installed my ssd which is OCZ Vertex III 120GB SSD
i find i have to power down my system before i can get it to reboot

I have tried that and even gone as far as unplugging it from the wall and it still doesn't boot up...still no video signal

KK I just took everything out of my PC and put it on a box and started it up and it booted!  So somehow the case is effecting the motherboard from booting up

I ran into one at work like this.

I didn't see your second post. You are ground out on the back side of the board or on the back panel.

Try not installing the back plain panel and installing paper or nylon washer between the mount points and mother board.

I took everything out of the case and mounted it on a cardboard box and started it up and it boots and runs perfect but my ssd fried so having to use yet again a hdd.  I am going to take the motherboard risers that came with the motherboard and not the case and soak them in silicone with the screws so that the risers/screws wont touch the mobo just silicone.  I will see if this works, if it don't I get to call up NZXT and complain about a rma for the case!

Remember that your motherboard needs to be grounded but at right places. Something else touched the motherboard. Screws should touch the MB and ground it to the case.

Something is grounding that should not be grounding.
I have a NZXT case no issues at all.

I completely agree with everyone here. You have a grounding issue. Your motherboard does not need additional grounds outside of what the PSU gives you. One thing alot of people miss is not only have you motherboard ground out on you chassis but the after market wiring may be a problem too. If you can get it to run outside of the chassis, look at getting some ESD tape to cover the back of the board. If that doesn't fix the issue then is the wiring. Good luck.

Well I have tried everything even covering the back of the mobo and its official the case fried my entire PC so I get to call NZXT and demand that they replace my PC!

Sorry to hear that bro, that just totally sucks.  I hope you wont have too many issues with them replacing your equipment, I know I would go on a rampage if that had happened to me.

Well I just filed a BBB complaint against NZXT with proof of purchase.  I also told NZXT in an email that if they don't replace my hardware that I will be contacting my lawyer for a possible suit.  I just lost over $800 in hardware because of a faulty NZXT product...I hope to god that they replace my hardware!

Get my liquid rubber today hopefully so I can soak the screws and motherboard risers in it along with spraying the motherboard tray.  Hopefully by tomorrow I will be back!
