Hey guys,
It's been quite a while but I'm back in the saddle again. I spent the past several months working at sea as a Chief Mate on a tug boat out of Pearl Harbor (USNS SIOUX T-ATF 171). I have also been taking training courses in Virginia and received additional high-speed endorsements on my license to sail on the new
JHSV class ships. These aluminum hulled catamaran troop transport ships can reach speeds of 42 knots light. The bridge is state of the art, the Army built a 10 million dollar simulator at Fort Eustis and the two week class their was great. The bridge reminds me of Star Trek a little...everyone has a seat and the engineers actually sit on the bridge behind the deck officers. I will be the Navigator on the second ship JHSV-2 Choctaw County when she crews up in Mobile in October. I'm sorry for being gone so long. I missed playing and talking to you all like I did last summer. It's good to be back and I'm looking forward to playing with you all again. I'm still a complete BF3 n00b so please break me in gently. My mic is currently busted but I have a new one coming this week.
