January 26 is the day that Australia celebrates Australia Day.
It's a day for parties, BBQ's, concerts, the beach....anything that celebrates being in this wonderful, multi-cultural country.
It's also a day when we acknowledge the Aboriginal people....the original inhabitants / owners of this country and their culture stretching back tens of thousands of years.
I hope you all join by saying "G'Day" to anyone you meet today, and mention the Aboriginal people in your prayers this evening.

Lamb chops and snags on the Barbie, smother them with tomato sauce in a slice of bread resting on a paper plate, can in hand, nowhere to sit and fighting off all the fly's.
Brilliant.
That's Australia Day.
