I am not sure if this will work but it seems to be one of the first things they recommend with browser issues when trying to get items to display.
Here it is:
Open Internet Explorer > Tools > a dialogue box opens then click "Delete Browsing History and then Delete All. Someitmed your temporary cache filess will get so full from Internet surfing there is no place to put new temporary files, such as web pages.
It's worth a try and only takes a minute or so to try.

It happens to me at times too.
What I do is remember the last time I read the forums. Anything posted after that time (date and time) I know is new.

But the date that shows on the list is the date that the post was last added on to. Not the date that the post was first made.

It does the same thing to me. Once I click on one, the rest reset too. I believe its something server side. Not much you can do about it. I haven't seen any settings in the account section to change this.
