I know there are several photographers that are members here and I just had to share this.  If you don't already read the Strobist blog, you might enjoy this.  In this posting he is showing two video clips of how to catch water drops hitting water using off camera flash.  (Awesome right?)

But the second video clip is actually a segment from the discovery channel show Time Warp.  It is just too cool.  Even if you are not a photographer you should check it out.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Thanks TankMomma, I've been a regular strobist reader for a long time, hadn't swung by to read that yet. Nice quick setup on that one!

I'm very much looking forward to playing with it.

Last summer I did series of dropping fruit into soda water and I think this might be even more fun.  With those I had a silver reflector under the container to light up the bubbles - I'm wondering if that might give some interesting effects with the droplets....I really have to get stuff done around the house so I can go play.  lol
