Heya everyone, I just thought I'd share a picture that I took with my phone while my family and I were out shopping.  Guess you could say that we almost bought it.  Hehe

Forgot to add that it touched down at the mall that we were at.  Luckily we came out ok and our car just got hit with some large hail.  No windows were broken but have about 50 - 60 divots around various parts of the body.  We're going to wait a little bit to see if the heat will naturally pop a few out before we bring it in to get the dents out.  About 100 yds from our car another car was picked up and tossed around, ending up unside down.  My son, 3 yrs old, didn't bat an eye.  He was enjoying looking around the store that we took shelter in.  LOL

Yeah, we had tornados in our neck of the woods last night @ 7.  the sirens were going off and we had some decent sized hail.  Ours were rain-wrapped though, so you couldn't see a dang thing.  Just a wall of rain and flashes of lightning.  I have two trees down...

My sister is in golden...she said you guys were getting baseball sized hail...nuts!

glad you came out ok.

Edit: as for the dents...the heat won't pop them.  usually its the exact opposite.  those paintless dent repair guys use dry ice to contract the metal to pop the dents out.

That's what I had thought about the dents m'self, but, was told to wait a bit by someone else in the know of such things.  Bad thing is we just had the front bumper on that specific car repair.  Ugh.  I have a few friends in the bodywork business so I'll be making some phonecalls to see what we can do and how much.  It's the dents on corners that are going to be a rough one.  We'll see!  Hope it's not overly expensive, especially since I'm just doing the fulltime student thing right now.  LOL  I saw the hail and knew it was big, but, didn't catch the size until later, saw 3" or so hail in the grass when we made our way back to the car.  YIKES!  5 tornadoes around the Denver area that day.  It's been a while since we've had such an active weather day.
