Rules, Don't die. I had not planned on any rules but as I am no expert at the game and have not seen a lot of participation I am open to any suggestions.

Rules to think of...
Crouch only
Pistol walking
Pistols and knives only
No explosives
No weapon attachments
Etc...
Not sure what we can do within Insurgency...

I was going to go no rules to start and then we can evaluate what would work better. We can then try different rules to see effect on game play.

I have found that it is mostly a trial and error kind of deal so what I have done in the past and it has worked well for me is this;
I would study the game.
The different weapons, classes, how big the maps are, what game types we have to work with and how the game plays.
Take all of that into careful consideration and then throw it all right out the window!
I would then say this is MY match and I will set it up however I want.
It would mostly just end up being the way I like to play.
Pistols only or sniper only with iron sights only or no explosives of any kind or every one has to use the exact same weapon, or something that is out of most peoples comfort zone.
In my mind that kind of leveled the playing field a little bit, because people by their very nature, will look for a way to have an advantage and if you take most of those away, well, you find out who is who and what is what.
Setting up a match is not for the faint of heart and it takes a lot of time and effort to make happen, so one last little nugget of advice from a former M.C. and a SCRIM COMBAT VETERAN .....just make a desicion and go with that.
Not everyone is going to like what you set up!
Who cares?
You are in charge.
So be in charge.
Just some insight as to how the GREATEST FIRE TEAM IN THE WORLD sets up our matches.
Or at least how I did it anyway.
