Well all,
I went and got a brand new 23 inch monitor and got it all hooked up. Thought 'hey, gonna see everybody now!' But alas.....it seems my GeForce 7600 graphics card is not strong enough to give me decent FPS while in game. I have tried and tried to get a better FPS to no avail. So I think as of now, I will be taking a break for a bit until I can afford a better graphics card. That of course entails rebuillding the computer a bit to accomodate a bigger graphics card. With a high FPS of 20 while in game, I am not even close to being competative. That and the Mrs is tired of me screaming and swearing at the machine! So until then....

Yeah Ladyhawk, Pompey-J and I are running the same card! Let him know I feel his pain! I lowered the screen resolution down to 1280x1024 and I get a whopping FPS of 31 now! I'm gonna run around town here and see if I can find at least a 9600 gt in my price range!

Yeah Sinister, that is the card I was looking at. Luke, I checked out newegg already but found one cheaper at Tiger Direct. GeForce 9800gt for about $120. If anyone knows of a cheaper place please let me know!

Hey Rivank. I will soon get my new GTX 275 card. And then i have a 9800GT 512mb card on my hand. I know its a long way from Norway
but i can send it to you. I also have a 8800GTS 320mb laying around. Just so you know.
Btw. What power supply do you have?

Not sure of the power supply off hand. I have a stock E-Machine brand computer. The only upgrades it has is the GeForce 7600 gt card I put into it.
*Just tore the case apart. Looks like I have a 300w power supply. Won't be able to run dual graphics cards due the Mother Board having only one PCIe slot. So no luck on just getting another 7600!*

To get full use of an big screen like yours....you need a larger Screencard. And a larger screencard needs a larger power supply.
Is the Screencard PCI-E or AGP ?
