Hello everybody,
I'm Sturmen, and, as some of you have probably already guessed: I'm one of the new recruits.
I've been playing first person shooters for the past seven or so years, but only have limited experience with clans (see: one, from CoD4), an endeavor which I ended several months back due to a lack of spare time on my part (it's not exactly fair to your mates if you're not on, now is it?). However, as a certain member (Luke) convinced me that that won't be a problem and that I should maybe apply, so, well... what can I say? I'm weak willed against people like him so I did exactly that.
In terms of gameplay style, I'm traditionally more of a sniper (for those of you who remember the original Ghost Recon in any detail, think back to Spec. Jack Stone and blame him), but given a startling lack of good perches in CoD5, I've begun to expand into more traditional fields which will hopefully not result in further shotgun-induced trauma to the back of my head.
At current, I tend to play it slowly: corners, crawl, the works. Now admittedly this doesn't mean I actually see the enemy before they see me, but I'm working on it.
Beyond that, how would I describe my skill level? "Complete and utter newbie who's occasional good fortune is induced purely by luck."
....That sounded a lot less grim in my head.
Weak Points: Not exactly calm, not exactly skilled, not exactly alert.
Good Points: (Tries) to keep calm, generally more lighthearted about the whole affair (until the bullets start flying that is), and I tend to do my best to be non-confrontational about things.
Well, that's me in a nutshell more or less, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys & gals in game.
Cheers!
