A couple of questions....
Does the "Verify Game Cache" verify that I have all patched up to this point? I reinstalled the game and would like to make sure that is is updated so I can rule that out as my FPS/LAG/stutter problem.
Is there talk on a date and what fixes the next patch is supposed to address?

It will check if your files are in order and up to date.

It's on by default, it's under graphics settings. It helped me, I no longer have bad lag spikes where i freeze and die. My FPS's didn't do anything...but it did make the game a little smoother.

What is your fps? Just curious cuz mine is in the teens and sometimes in the low 20's. Unfortunatly I didn't ever look at my fps when the game worked fine for me so I don't know how to compare.

What GPU do you have? That can make all the difference in the world. Currently i have a ATI Radeon HD4850, and on medium settings with shadows turned off and AA turned off, i can hold 60FPS in most areas of most maps. But some maps are worse then others...so I just set the settings to low and have shadows on and i never drop below 60.

Sounds like you are having a hardware/software issue. You do have the latest drivers?
