Hey all-

I have a friend that can't play BO because of a stuttering issue. It appears to be a fairly common issue -  Steam forum BO issue Have any of you noticed it? It seems to affect those people using Core 2 Duo processors. I'm running a core I7 and don't have any problem. Are any of you running BO on a Core 2 Duo? If so, does it run smoothly?

Does he make sure that there isnt a bunch of other programs in the background? i started playing with a core 2 duo and had the same problem,but recently upgraded.
another that may help is
start blackops
at the main page tab out
open your task manager
go to processes
find blackops andright click on it and set the priority to high
then find steam and set priority to low

another thing is to go to your steam settings and change and your download region closer to where you live

and last but not least he can also download a game booster program,that will eliminate processes that u dont need to run while playing,and free up ram
i used game booster from IOBIT,and that seemed to help also
