So I thought i owuld throw in a little review of the map pack that will be coming to PC June 2. My friend brought over his Xbox with the new maps and zombie map, and all I can say is...I think everyone will be happy. The map Zoo looks amazing, with lots of sniper spots, but at the same time you can esily move around the map without getting sniped. The maps seem better laid out, but we will se how it works when it actually comes out. The zombie map Call of the Dead, is...AMAZING!!! You start out along on old beach with a few ways to go...(didn't get far) and you constantly have to move since there is a bad guy chasing you the whole time, and you can't kill him...at least not easily and we certainly never figured it out, except not to make him mad by shooting him. If you do not shoot him he just follows you around, but will attack if he gets close, if you shoot him he comes after you with a vengance...and then you die...lol. The Hotel map looks like another nuketown/stadium style map, fun i think. Didn't get to play much of the other 2 maps, but they seem to be along the styles of WMD, and Villa. All in all they look better then the last map pack, and i think there will be some fun times on Zoo, and the zombies you just gotta try out.

I got it and am excited for it! saw a bunch of tube videos and gota say i am rather impressed with the map design. :)
EDIT: However, I'm rather put off by the free weekend... we are going to have our hands full with rule breaker I'm sure.

Have the new maps been added to the map lineup in the servers? Just curious. I'm at work and bored.
It seamed to take a few days when the first map pack hit, Either that or the server i was on just had really unlucky random map pulls.
And for those that have played on the new maps, How you like it?

I was n TDM HC eariler and yes, they were in the rotaion. Though it's be nice to have an Escalation server for a little while to know the maps.
From what i saw of them, i like them a lot. The 3 I played are a good size and they made an excellent use of the space.

The map packs aren't loaded on all servers as not all members have them.
Servers 1, 2, 3 and 5 have Map pack 1.
I've yet to find out which has escalation - perhaps someone could post that info. Thx
