Okay, the story goes that I bought a brand new 6950 XFX 2gb video card in anticipation of BF3. Well I took out the old Nvidia card I had and uninstalled the drivers. Anyways for the life of me I could not get the new card configured right for Black Ops. Things looked very nice in game, however there was crazy load times for maps and horrible in game lag spikes. I turned to Google for help in ended up reading some posts in Guru3D website. I would recommend going to Guru3D and checking it out as it is pretty good.
Well I put together a instructional with a config editor for Black ops. It is hosted at

By no means did I put a whole lot of time into making this package, so no criticism please for anything I may not have included tweak wise. I made it for myself at first just so I could play again.

I see that the included .jpg has shadows off. IIf that is YOU conifiguration, i'd strongly suggest turning them back on. They can come in handy quite often - many maps have spots where you can see baddies coming from their cast shadows.
